Saudia Cargo, the Kingdom’s leading national air cargo carrier and a key enabler in the Middle East’s logistics sector, has been honored with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, recognizing its outstanding contributions to sustainable practices, community engagement, and alignment with the strategic goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The award was received by Eng. Hassaan Khan, Vice President Governance, Risk Management, Compliance & Health, Safety, Security, Environment, during a ceremony held in Riyadh under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, at the ceremony hosted by the Ministry today in Riyadh.
Saudia Cargo representatives expressed pride in this achievement, which reflects the dedication of its people and its ongoing commitment to integrating sustainability practices across all operations. The company continues to align its efforts with Saudi Vision 2030, while investing in local talent and actively contributing to social development.
This recognition underscores Saudia Cargo’s deep-rooted sense of corporate responsibility and its efforts to foster a culture built on empathy, empowerment, and accountability. As part of its sustainability efforts, Saudia Cargo launched its Succession Planning Program in 2024 in partnership with the Saudi Logistics Academy, aimed at training and empowering more than 300 young Saudi talents to build future industry leaders who will advance the logistics sector and support localization and sustainability goals.
In parallel, Saudia Cargo continues to fulfill its humanitarian mission by supporting relief and charitable initiatives. Working alongside the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the company has transported vital aid shipments to disaster-affected regions worldwide, reaffirming its national and humanitarian commitment to helping communities in need and promoting global solidarity.
