Jeddah, 6th May, 2015

Saudi Airlines Cargo is expanding its global network by launching a new dedicated freighter service to Paris/Charles de Gaulle starting May 22nd.

This brings their destinations covered in France to 21 freighter destination.

In addition to 12th weekly passengers’ flights, the new scheduled B747 -400 freighter flights will operate twice a week to Paris/Charles de Gaulle on routing. It will strengthen the airline’s airfreight presence within France, offering customers greater choice and flexibility when moving goods between Saudi Arabia and France.

The new destination to Paris/Charles de Gaulle will result in being able to meet strong demand for cargo from a promising French market.

Rainer Mueller, VP Commercial (A) at Saudi Airlines Cargo: “Our focus is to improve connectivity and provide a growing network of destinations and quality operations to our customers.”

Mueller furthered said “We are committed to the French market which has seen a strong development for Saudi Airlines Cargo over the past years. Adding Paris as a freighter station to our network on top of our 12 weekly passenger flights will offer a lot of opportunities to the French forwarding industry as well as exporters in other countries who are looking for a direct freighter product.”

Saudia Cargo operates a fleet of dedicated freighters and sells the belly-capacity on passenger aircraft for Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier Saudia, spanning a rapidly expanding global network. In addition to its scheduled freighter services, the cargo airline also provides cost-effective and practical worldwide charter flight solutions from a growing fleet of dedicated charter aircraft.
